Fokus is a Safari extension designed to enhance reading and presentation experiences by emphasizing selected content on the web. By applying a semi-transparent black overlay to the remaining parts of the page, Fokus enables users to concentrate on specific text or images.
The extension offers a range of customizable options, including:
- Adjustable overlay opacity
- Choice of modifier key (Shift, Control, Option, or Command) to activate the overlay
- Customizable padding around the selected content
To enable and use Fokus, follow these steps:
- Open Settings
- Scroll down to Safari and select it
- Scroll down to Extensions and select it
- Enable Fokus
- Open the Safari app and navigate to a website
- Select the "aA" button
- Tap on Manage Extensions
- Enable Fokus
- Select Fokus
- Grant Fokus access to the website
